As a group of flag dance professionals, Axis Danz combines the lyrical and interpretive qualities of individual flag dancing with the powerful visuals of ensemble work. The results have been fresh and dramatic and have energized events across the country.

Audiences have embraced the concert work wholeheartedly, amazed by its energy, novelty and emotional impact. Recent choreographed works have included "Forces Within and Out", "Winter's End", "Open Heart", "Revolution", "Trippin" and "Let The Sun Shine". Each with its own unique look and style.

Empowered by a tremendously positive response, Axis Danz remains committed to challenging this technique further--and will continue to pioneer new vistas of creative expression.

Because of the company's connection to the community that gave birth to modern flag dancing, Axis Danz is dedicated to preserving this art form and to recognizing those who have been its biggest inspiration. We acknowledge the fact that flag dancing was nearly lost during the AIDS epidemic; so therefore, Axis Danz will continue to participate in a variety of AIDS fundraising efforts. It is our desire to support those in the community struggling to flourish in a society that still denies many people their intrinsic right to be.
